Out of Schools Club
Welcome to Garioch Sports Centre’s Out of Schools Club. We provide care for up to 62 children Monday-Friday, from school age up to 16 years. Our clubs run before and after school and we also run camps during school holidays.
What makes the OOSC great? It’s our team. Friendly and approachable, they encourage all children to plan and participate in physical activity and promote healthy living and independence.
There really is something for everyone. Whether your child prefers to relax and read a book, express their creativity with arts and crafts or construction games or they’re more physical and enjoy sports, our team will encourage and nurture.
The club includes a healthy breakfast/snack and drink which the children are encouraged to choose themselves. Menus and allergens are displayed on the OOSC noticeboard – just let us know of any dietary requirements your child has and we will accommodate.
The club is supported by the Lead Practitioner - Danielle Menzies . All of our team have been Enhanced PVG Disclosure checked and are SSSC registered/in the process of registering.
Team information including qualifications and training are available to view on our parent/carers information board.

FAQ
Do I hand in a registration form for every term? – no, we only require one registration form, unless there are any changes to be made.
Is there a way for me to have a monthly statement of my child’s account? – Unfortunately, our system does not allow us to provide this. However if you would like to know how your account is looking, simply ask and we can tell you.
Do you provide OOSC care for schools out with Inverurie? – We only provide care for schools in Inverurie, currently Kellands, Strathburn, Uryside, Keith hall (breakfast club only), Port Elphinestone and Inverurie Academy. However during Camps we accept any schools.
Can children be dropped off/collected anytime when in for a full day session of camps? – Yes, you are welcome to drop off and collect your child/children any time within our opening hours, however we do go on trips some days so make sure to double check the activity timetable.
Can my child have hot food for lunch during camps? – Unfortunately, we are not registered to provide a hot meal, so we ask parent’s not to give their children food that requires us to heat/cook it. We have no problem with children taking flasks or other containers that will keep hot food warm.

Camps
Camps run throughout school holidays - April, Summer, October and most in-service days Mon-Fri 7am to 6pm. There’s a varied timetable in place with activities chosen by the children and the team. The timetable is a great mix of physical, group activities, craft/baking.
We provide a healthy breakfast during camps but we ask parents and carers to provide snacks and a packed lunch.
