We are delighted to announce that Garioch Sports Centre is now OFFICALLY a HYROX Affiliated Gym!!
A HYROX is a fitness training session or class combines running with functional exercises. It’s designed to improve your strength and endurance.
What does a HYROX class involve? Running, completing a functional exercise station, and repeating it several times across the different functional exercise stations .
What exercises are included? SkiErg, Rowing, Burpee Broad Jumps, Wall balls, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Sled Push, and Sled Pull.
Who can participate? HYROX is open to anyone, and it offers different categories, age brackets, and alternatives for participants.
How can I train for HYROX? To train for HYROX, you can: Build endurance by running, develop strength, and practice specific HYROX exercises.
